The Road to Web-to-print
Sponsored by: Rochester Software Associates Rocky Reynolds, Supervisor, Reprographics/Mail, Citrus College
Speakers:
After beginning his Web-to-print journey with a system that created more headaches than efficiencies, Rocky Reynolds vowed to take a new approach. In this webinar, we will learn how he went about selecting a system more suited to the needs of Citrus College. Today, 80% of the work that comes into the college's in-plant is submitted online. Getting to this point, though, required a strong understanding of user's needs, in-depth testing with top users and a focused marketing effort to accompany the launch. The webinar will cover Citrus' path to Web-to-print, its decision to pull the plug on a dysfunctional system and start from scratch, and the ups downs faced by the in-plant along the way. The presentation will offer a frank look at the times the in-plant veered off course, and how it was able to gain its footing again. Moderated by In-plant Graphics Editor Bob Neubauer, this webinar is about one in-plant's journey to offer the best and easiest work request submittal process for all faculty, staff and adjunct professors. Participants will learn: - The history of Web-to-print at Citrus College, and why it needed to change - How the college gained an understanding of user's needs and requirements prior to choosing a new Web-to-print solution - How Citrus College worked with top users to beta test the application - The marketing the print center did to launch the solution - What lies ahead for the in-plant Sponsored by Rochester Software Associates Click here to view this free webinar today!
