IPI Editor Bob Neubauer recently visited Sacramento State University Print & Mail, a PRINTING United Alliance member, and talked with Director Laura Lockett about her in-plant's expansion into flatbed printing and cutting, which necessitated the opening of a new facility dubbed "Wide-Format Land." Wide-format work, she says, is on the rise, while the shop's traditional toner jobs are decreasing.

University Print & Mail has added a host of new equipment this year, including a monochrome digital press, a folder/creaser, and an inkjet envelope printer. See how these new capabilities are benefiting the in-plant, and get a look at some ambitious wide-format projects the in-plant has created.
