IPI Editor Bob Neubauer visited a brand-new in-plant opened by the Sheetz convenience store chain in Central Pennsylvania to print store signage, product labels, wallpaper for retail stores, and more. The 35,000-sq.-ft. facility houses a grand-format printer, automated cutters, label printing and cutting equipment, and production toner presses, all run by a staff of 17.

Neubauer talked with Print Operations Manager Lauren Gearhart, a key motivating force behind the creation of the new print operation. Here's an exclusive look inside this new in-plant.
