University of Texas-Austin Installs New MBO Folder

The University of Texas at Austin has installed a new MBO buckle folder with a rollaway knife unit. Now the in-plant can fold eight- and 16-page signatures. The in-plant can now fold large sheet sizes on two folders, doubling its production capabilities. The new folder runs 8,000 sheets per hour and holds better registration than the shop's other folder. To promote its new capabilities, the in-plant produced this video documenting the installation of the folder and touting the in-plant's "Three E's"—experience, expertise and equipment.
