After crunching the numbers, Chuck Brantley says investing in a digital envelope press was a “no-brainer.” Ringling College of Art & Design was outsourcing its bulk mail, incurring annual costs of $12,000. With equipment specs, pictures and video all available online, why should an in-plant manager bother going to Graph Expo any more? Those who made the trip to Chicago last month have lots of good reasons.
Xanté is excited to showcase its innovative digital print systems and workflow software in its booth (431) at Graph Expo. Attendees will be able to participate in hands-on demonstrations that show how Xanté's digital print systems and workflow software work together to offer affordable digital print solutions that increase production and profits.
Xanté's 2014 Digital Color Road Show is expanding to southern California next month, with stops in San Diego, Santa Ana, Monrovia, Burbank and Culver City. Xanté will showcase the new ILUMINA Heavyweight Champion Digital Press, Impressia Multi-Media Press with the patent-pending Enterprise High Speed Feed System and iQueue 9 Ultimate Digital Color Workflow.
A new iQueue 9 RIP workflow has been released by Xanté that has simplified the process for handling variable data printing, sequential numbering and Intelligent Mail barcodes. The Variable Data Manager allows users to import personalized data and generate print-ready digital files.
Tight budgets in Louisiana and the need for more on-demand printing have compelled the Office of State Printing to slim down and digitize. The slimming down came in October when staff reductions brought the Baton Rouge operation down to 20 full-time employees plus five student workers. The transition from offset to digital technologies followed closely after.
Xanté Corp's complete digital printing portfolio will be on display at Graphics of the Americas (GOA) held in Orlando, FL, February 21-23. Xanté will showcase the Memjet-powered Excelagraphix 4200 and Excelagraphix 850, plus the Ilumina 650 GS Series, Impressia Digital Multi-Media Press, PlateMaker 6, and the newest version of iQueue Ultimate Prepress Workflow at the show.
