STEVENSVILLE, ONTARIO—The former Vertis workers who were let go after their Fort Erie plant was not included in the sale to Quad/Graphics may have ended their picketing, but they're still battling to secure at least part of the C$2.7 million they say is owed to them, the Niagara Bullet News reported.

MEDINA, OH—Four years ago, the former American Color Graphics printing plant here was scheduled to be closed, but a last-minute reprieve by owner Vertis Communications kept the facility humming. But, when it wasn't included in the acquisition of Vertis by Quad/Graphics, it appeared that it would only be a matter of time before the facility was closed or sold elsewhere.
