Last month the Association of College and University Printers conference brought 82 higher-ed in-plant managers to Phoenix for four days of education, networking and fun.
An in-plant marketing contest hosted by Rochester Software Associates (RSA) has yielded four winners. The contest was created by RSA to showcase in-plants' marketing efforts. Winners each received a plaque and lunch for the entire shop.
"The majority of in-plants today have some type of Web-to-print," noted Jeff Hayes, president of InfoTrends, at the beginning of an IPG webinar earlier this week. And those that don't, he added, "you're likely losing customers or jobs." The webinar was sponsored by Rochester Software Associates and featured two in-plant managers detailing their Web-to-print experiences.
