In keeping with corporate environmental goals, the in-plant print shop at this Midwest utility installed a Presstek Dimension Excel CTP system. Running Presstek Anthem Pro plates, the system provides true chemistry-free platesetting. In addition, the shop has been able to improve its quality.

Presstek plans to hold a one-day open house event in its Hudson, N.H., demonstration center next Tuesday, March 9, from 8:00 to 3:00.
 
The event will feature educational workshops on color management and workflow, along with demonstrations of the new Presstek 52DI-AC digital offset press with an inline aqueous coater, and the Presstek 52DI equipped with the UV printing option. Presstek's chemistry-free platesetters, plates, integrated workflow and Web-to-print solutions will also be on display. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
