Canon and HP's wide-format devices have won Pick and Outstanding Achievement Awards from Buyers Laboratory (BLI). Among the winning devices selected in Canon U.S.A.'s wide-format lineup are imagePROGRAF iPF680/685, imagePROGRAF iPF780/785 and imagePROGRAF iPF785 MFP M40 printers. HP's winning devices include the HP Designjet Z5400 PostScript ePrinter and HP Rear Stacker Design.

HP will separate into two new publicly traded Fortune 50 companies, one comprising HP’s enterprise technology infrastructure, software and services businesses (to be called Hewlett-Packard Enterprise), and one that will comprise HP’s personal systems and printing businesses (HP Inc.). Since installing the HP Indigo 10000 digital press in October 2013 at its Bolingbrook, IL, location, Tobe Direct has brought 25 percent of its outsourced business in-house, reclaiming revenues and increasing efficiency. In addition, the company has secured 30 new customers as a result of new capabilities offered with the press, accounting for 15 percent of its business in the last six months.
