Two Public Printers to Speak at Forum for In-plants

In-plant managers at government agencies and higher-ed institutions now have another reason to attend the INTERQUEST Digital Printing in Government and Higher Education Forum in Washington, D.C. 12 days from today. Both the current and previous U.S. Public Printers will be speakers at the event.

In the summer of 2010, Leslie Rutledge moved from her position at San Diego State University, where she was manager of ReproGraphics, to head up the Graphic Services department at Brown University, in Providence, R.I. "Prior to my arrival, the university had undergone a reorganization, which had to be completed by June 30th," Rutledge says. Targeting redundancy, the university was combining administrative services to achieve greater efficiencies.

New Printer Brings In-plant Recognition

University Printing Services at California State University, Dominguez Hills has installed an HP Designjet L25500 printer to meet the demand for large-format printed output. The new printer allows the in-plant to print on a variety of media, from recyclable HDPE banners to a range of gloss and matte photo papers.
