EFI has acquired print management information system (MIS) developer Lector Computersysteme GmbH based in Monchengladbach, Germany. Lector's employees have joined EFI and will report to Sean Whelan, director of EMEA-region operations in EFI's Productivity Software business.

EFI has acquired the assets of printLEADER, a provider of print MIS software products for the printing industry based in Palm City, FL. While financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, the acquisition is not expected to be material to EFI’s Q2 or full-year 2013 results.

The announcement was made at emerge 2013, Consolidated Graphics' annual customer solutions conference taking place April 30 through May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
