SHELTON, CT—April 11, 2007—Baldwin Technology Company, Inc. (AMEX: BLD), a global leader in accessories and controls technology for the printing industry, announced today that it has acquired Hildebrand Systeme GmbH in Switzerland, a leader in the field of high performance web cleaning. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Baldwin Technology’s President and Chief Operating Officer Karl S. NPES The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies, honored the winners of the 2006 Harold W. Gegenheimer Awards for Industry Service. Gerald Clark of Graphics Microsystems and Baldwin Technology Co. were acknowledged at an awards banquet at the NPES Annual Conference November 6 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. The awards, named for a former NPES President and Chairman Emeritus of Baldwin Technology Co., recognize qualities which Harold Gegenheimer stood for: a lifelong commitment to technical innovation, sound management, support for education and research and working for the good of the whole industry. The nominees, both long-time members of NPES, were selected in recognition
