While many printers are watching their volumes head south, things are a little different for Arkansas State University Printing Services. “Our volume just keeps growing, and the amount of work and the revenue we generate for the university keeps growing,” says David Maloch, assistant director of the nine-employee in-plant. “So they like us over here.”
In order to expand beyond its current sheetfed production capabilities, IntegraColor has purchased two new 41" Mitsubishi presses, a Diamond V3000LX and Diamond V3000LS. The new Mitsubishi presses answer the need for short turnarounds and high-quality printing.
M13 Graphics in Schaumburg, IL, has installed a Mitsubishi Diamond 3000LX sheetfed press to expand its production capabilities and provide redundant pressroom equipment. The installation was reportedly the second Mitsubishi sheetfed press installed in the Chicago area so far in 2013.

The installation of Lewisburg Printing's new six-color, 73˝ R900 XXL press from manroland inc. is almost complete. The new unit will complement an existing six-color, 73˝ Roland that was purchased in 2008.
