Automation can save your in-plant considerable time and money, and during the In-plant Forum, Mike Griswold, Printing and Graphics Lead at Tacoma Public Schools, traced his in-plant’s path toward greater workflow automation.
The In-plant Forum was devoted entirely to in-plants, and it kicked off with a keynote presentation by Consultant Howie Fenton detailing how in-plants can prepare their operations to thrive after the pandemic.
The PRINTING United Digital Experience begins the second week of the 14-day event with a special In-plant Forum. A host of educational sessions, panel discussions, new product demonstrations, and more, are on tap for this special day dedicated to in-plants.
If you haven’t done so yet, registering for Monday’s In-plant Forum may be the smartest thing you do all week. Day six of the PRINTING United Digital Experience will be devoted entirely to in-plants and will feature seven different in-plant managers speaking on a variety of topics.

After being forced to cancel the judging of the In-Print 2020 contest back in March due to the coronavirus, IPI and the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association brought together four in-plant managers on Sept. 23 to judge the contest. They selected 64 Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners.

XPLOR20 will feature a general session panel that will feature five industry experts on customer experience, including how it has taken center stage over the last several years.
A new type of session called ‘Ask the Expert’ has been added to the XPLOR20 conference agenda. XPLOR20 will take place over four days, starting on Sept. 29 and continuing on Oct. 1, 6, and 8.
