COLOR22 ended on a high note this year, finishing the color management conference with two keynotes that helped to bring the ideas together and encourage attendees to take everything they learned and apply it to their own businesses.

The second day of the definitive color management conference - COLOR22 - began with a fascinating look at how our emotions, and even our senses, are impacted by color. 

With COLOR22 set to begin next week in La Jolla, California, there is still time to make plans to attend. Here are just a few of the reasons to consider it.

In-plants from educational institutions across the UK gathered virtually yesterday for a full-day educational conference that featured video tours of several university in-plants.

IPI Editor Bob Neubauer recently visited five central Pennsylvania in-plants to see how they have been getting by during the pandemic. This video offers an inside look at the in-plants at the Dauphin County Library System, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Messiah University, Dickinson College, and Penn State Health. 

Five in-plants are being honored by the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association with 2020-2021 IPMA Awards. These include the Print Center and Mail Center of the Year awards, along with awards for Organizational Impact, Innovation and Promotional Excellence.

Steve Gilliland will make a return appearance at next year's In-plant Printing and Mailing Association conference. His keynote will focus on how to develop and deliver value in everything your in-plant does.

PRINTING United Alliance announced the winners of the Premier PRINT Awards international printing competition. The competition recognizes and honors excellence in print across 71 different categories.

The cancelation of PRINTING United Expo, which had been scheduled for October in Orlando, caused questions about the XPLOR21 event, scheduled for November 16-18 in St. Pete Beach, Florida. At this point, Xplor International is electing to move forward.

On Sept. 13, all entries in the In-Print 2021 contest will be examined by a team of judges in Kearney, Mo., inside the headquarters of the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association.
