At the IPMA awards ceremony in Buffalo, New York, the six winners of In-Print Best of Show awards from the years 2020, 2021, and 2022 were announced at last. There were some surprises.

Nearly 140 in-plant managers and other attendees are in Buffalo this week for the first In-plant Printing and Mailing Association conference since 2019. The enthusiasm is strong.

The buzz around 25th IPMA conference has been building, and I can’t wait to see my in-plant friends again.

The long drought of in-person conferences and connection will end on June 12, when the IPMA 2022 conference begins in Buffalo, New York, and continues for four full days.

After three long years, in-plants will finally be able to get together again at PRINTING United Expo to see the latest technology, attend educational sessions, and just network with one another. In this new video, Mark Subers, president of events and exhibitions at PRINTING United Alliance, tells us what in-plants can expect at the show, which will take place Oct. 19-21 in Las Vegas.

Last week in Chicago, Xeikon invited a select group of customers, prospects, and journalists to its facilities for a scaled-down version of it’s Xeikon Café event, which focused on both label printing and general graphic arts printing.

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is renewing its partnership with the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) at its highest level as a Diamond Sponsor. The IPMA 2022 conference will be taking place June 12-16, in Buffalo, New York.

April was a banner month for in-plants. It marked the return of in-person in-plant conferences following two years of virtual events — and frankly, it couldn’t come soon enough.
