The ninth annual Inkjet Summit wrapped up Wednesday evening with an outdoor dinner and award ceremony that was much more casual than at previous summits. Attendees voted on the case studies presented that they felt were most useful. When the votes were tallied, five companies prevailed.

Finally, 613 days since I last saw an in-plant manager in person, I greeted Richard Beto at the airport in Austin, Texas, on Monday, and we rode together to tour his in-plant at the University of Texas at Austin. I was in town to attend the Inkjet Summit, where, for three days, I got to hang out with some two dozen in-plant managers ­— in person; no Zoom involved.
