An agreement has been made between Muller Martini and MBO America to work in tandem to engineer multiple capability configurations for the Muller Martini's Presto II Digital saddle stitcher. MBO America will be the primary supplier for roll-fed and digital sheet-fed infeeds to the Presto II Digital.

As the first collaborative achievement between MGI and Konica Minolta, the JETvarnish 3DS will be revealed to the United States at Graph Expo 14. It has all the tactile effects and advantages of the original JETvarnish 3D at only half the size.

Tech-ni-Fold Ltd. has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against F. P. Rosback Co., based in St. Joseph, MI. Tech-ni-Fold's complaint states that Rosback's TrueScore-Pro products infringe Tech-ni-Fold's US Patent No. 6,572,519.

With a four-color Ryobi 784 EP perfecting press, as well as Konica Minolta bizhub PRESS C8000 and C6000 color printers, the busy 11-employee in-plant prints projects the MET's quality-conscious designers can be proud of.
The winds of change have blown through the bindery at Gannon University Press in recent years, bringing a variety of new equipment, expanded capabilities and shorter turnaround times for the shop's college clients.

"We're a 24/7 shop, and we produce approximately 170 million impressions a year, which equates to 70 million pieces of mail," reports Mark Kearns, vice president, Print & Mail Services. "We produce all of our customer correspondence, from customers' account statements to bank card statements to mortgage notices—all of our products across the enterprise."
