During the week of Sept. 24-26 in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, the 2024 Xplor Summit brought together nearly 120 end users, analysts, consultants, and industry experts from across the Customer Communications Management (CCM) industry. The two-and-a-half-day event focused on topics like accessibility, artificial intelligence, CCM, customer experience (CX), digital transformation, process automation, and security and compliance.
Attendees hailed from a range of top companies and organizations, such as The Cincinnati Insurance Co., Aetna, High Rock Strategies, Office Depot, O'Neil Digital Solutions, Optum Technology, Securian Financial, State Farm, and Tennessee State Government. A contingent of graphic arts students from California Polytechnic State University and Rochester Institute of Technology also attended. Teams from those schools presented real-life application designs in the 2024 Communication Design Competition. Cal Poly’s team won the competition, with a team that included Olivia Cooper, Hailey Jones, Malia McCaig, Amelia Petroff, and Ella Williamson, with professor Dina Vees as faculty advisor.
In addition to the educational sessions and interactive panels, attendees visited with 14 exhibitors at the summit: Allyant, Crawford Technologies, Equidox, FCI CCM, FedEx Office, Gimbel & Associates, Kyocera, MHC, OSG, Papyrus Software, Quadient, Racami, RenderX, and Solimar Systems. The Xplor Summit also included activities like career speed dating and a poolside happy hour.
Bob has served as editor of In-plant Impressions since October of 1994. Prior to that he served for three years as managing editor of Printing Impressions, a commercial printing publication. Mr. Neubauer is very active in the U.S. in-plant industry. He attends all the major in-plant conferences and has visited more than 180 in-plant operations around the world. He has given presentations to numerous in-plant groups in the U.S., Canada and Australia, including the Association of College and University Printers and the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association. He also coordinates the annual In-Print contest, co-sponsored by IPMA and In-plant Impressions.
