Xerox Debuts Inkjet System

On Monday, in Lucerne, Switzerland, Xerox unveiled its Production Inkjet System, which uses its proprietary solid ink technology. The introduction was made at Hunkeler Innovationdays, a four-day trade show. The new waterless inkjet system reportedly enables vivid image quality on low-cost paper for printers looking to produce high-volume jobs. The device on display in Lucerne was a single engine (simplex) system, but Xerox says it will also be available in a twin engine (duplex) configuration.
