The World Bank Group's in-plant will play a key part in the inaugural meeting of Jetcomm, a global community for users of HP Inkjet Web Presses, taking place next week in Washington, DC. The Bank's 97-employee Printing & Multimedia Services operation will host a tour to show off its HP Inkjet T-230 production inkjet press to other inkjet users.
The Jetcomm Conference 2015 will take place March 4-5, overlapping the DscoopX conference, a community of HP Graphic Arts business owners and technical professionals. The two meetings will be held at the same venue, making it easy for participants to attend both events.
Jetcomm will provide a dynamic inkjet-focused learning and networking opportunity for users of HP inkjet web presses. At the conference, attendees will participate in educational sessions and meet with peers, HP inkjet experts, media and solutions experts and industry analysts.
“With a rapidly growing base of HP Inkjet Web Press installations worldwide, the market has now reached the critical mass at which it makes sense to build a formal community framework for HP customers,” says Aurelio Maruggi, vice president and general manager, Inkjet High-speed Production Solutions, HP. “Through Jetcomm, HP will create opportunities for new and veteran users to network, share and cooperate. Over time, we expect Jetcomm will grow and develop, and we look forward to HP production inkjet users becoming proactive partners in nurturing the group for their mutual benefit.”
The Jetcomm conference is already sold out and includes the attendance of senior and mid-level executives from a variety of application segments: publishing, production mail, commercial print, transaction and more.
