Washington Puts People First

The department is breaking ground in other areas, as well. Taking its cue from the California Office of State Publishing, Washington's Department of Printing is seeking approval from the attorney general to sell ads in state publications to help reduce their cost. The department is also doing some variable data printing and is looking into providing digital imaging and filing services for other agencies. All these efforts help make it easier for the state government to function.
