After being forced to cancel its annual conference due to the pandemic, the Association of Creative and Print Managers in Education (ACPME), a U.K.-based group comprised of in-plants from educational organizations across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, is holding a one-day educational conference on Dec. 1 that will be open to all in-plants around the world.
Called Creative Climates, the virtual event will feature sessions on staying positive during the pandemic and working in the new normal; in-depth discussions on design, print and photography; and virtual booths where suppliers will showcase their technologies. ACPME members will discuss ways they are “getting creative in a crisis,” and an Adobe trainer will review what’s hot in InDesign and Photoshop.
Though the opening sessions of the conference will start a bit early for U.S. managers (5 a.m. EST) the event will continue until 11:15 a.m. EST. The conference is sure to give U.S. in-plants some new ideas and perspectives from fellow managers across the ocean.
