Printers can visit as their schedules permit. Live press demonstrations, LED-UV technology exhibits, and ROI analytics of Ryobi equipment will be presented throughout the day Monday, Oct. 28, and Tuesday, Oct. 29, starting at 9 a.m. Refreshments and food will be served at the complimentary event, held at Paper Handling Solutions in Marietta, GA.

“Printers today need the best quality and the deepest value in new print technology,” explained Don Barbour, co-founder of Graphic Systems North America and owner of Paper Handling Solutions in Marietta, GA. “They also need new ways to significantly cut production costs and speed job throughput.”
“This open house is an important event for any U.S. or Canadian commercial, packaging and in-plant printer considering new equipment,” Barbour added. “They can see live demos, print test a new state-of-the-art 8-up press, and learn first-hand how LED-UV instant cure can dramatically speed delivery of print to customers.”
GSNA officials said reduced power requirements from a Ryobi 920 series press equipped with LED-UV curing can generate $25,000 to $50,000 in annual savings versus a six-color, 40˝ press equipped with traditional dryers.
In addition, the 920 series press cuts the cost of consumables including plates and blankets by 30 percent and requires 35 percent less floor space than a competitive eight-up press.
Add to that highly competitive equipment pricing—plus extreme reliability that assures continuous uptime—and printers can get the lowest total cost of ownership of any eight-up press on the market today, GSNA said.
Panasonic’s new LED-UV drying system instantly dries the print, enabling quick delivery to the bindery and customer. It draws 75 percent less power than conventional lamps, requires no powder spray or ductwork, and substantially cuts VOC emissions. Highly compact, energy-efficient chillers and lamp controllers further reduce footprint requirements.
