In-plant Managers to Meet in Mississippi
THE COUNTRY’S largest gathering of in-plant managers is about to assemble in Tunica, Miss., just south of Memphis. The In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) Conference will be taking place June 4-7 at the Veranda Hotel, part of the Grand Casino Resort, in Tunica. Any manager interested in improving his or her in-plant should make plans to attend.
This will be the association’s 49th conference, and the agenda is packed with educational sessions that get right to the heart of the issues most important to in-plants. Topics include variable data, mail piece design, customer service, Web-based job submission, going green and much more. Plus, a half-day vendor fair will give managers a chance to see and learn about some of the latest technologies for their in-plants.

Bob has served as editor of In-plant Impressions since October of 1994. Prior to that he served for three years as managing editor of Printing Impressions, a commercial printing publication. Mr. Neubauer is very active in the U.S. in-plant industry. He attends all the major in-plant conferences and has visited more than 180 in-plant operations around the world. He has given presentations to numerous in-plant groups in the U.S., Canada and Australia, including the Association of College and University Printers and the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association. He also coordinates the annual In-Print contest, co-sponsored by IPMA and In-plant Impressions.
