A major printing blunder, outrage over USPS rate increases, and the passing of a prominent in-plant leader topped the list of the most-read In-plant Impressions articles of 2024.
Many of the most popular articles centered on advancements at in-plants, particularly shifts from traditional toner to high-speed inkjet presses. Articles on successful in-plants were a huge draw, as were stories on unusual and newsworthy occurrences like an in-plant tied to an illegal cannabis shop. The potential impact of artificial intelligence also attracted considerable attention, as did stories with Xerox in the headline, two of which made the top 10.
But there should be no surprise that the third most well-read article of 2024 was about the untimely death of Mike Lincoln, an industry giant and good friend, taken much too soon.
