In-Print 2019 Winners
Despite limited resources, in-plants produce some extraordinary work. Each year the In-Print contest gives them an opportunity to show it off.
This year we received nearly 400 entries in the only contest exclusively for in-house printing departments, and 73 of them were singled out for Gold, Silver or Bronze awards.
Jointly sponsored by In-plant Impressions and the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA), In-Print is always a tough contest to judge. A panel of in-plant managers met in March at IPMA headquarters in Kearney, Mo., to inspect the entries and spent a full day looking closely at each of them. A misplaced stitch, a crack on a fold, a crossover that didn’t line up — sometimes that was all it took to move a piece out of contention. As a result, the winners were nearly flawless and displayed creativity, complexity, attention to detail and a high level of difficulty to produce.
