For it’s 19th year, the On Demand Conference and Exposition has gone back to its roots. After several years on the road (Philadelphia, Boston, Washington, D.C.) it will return to New York this year, taking place June 13-14 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Here’s just a small sampling of some of the products that will be on display.

Wide Scanners, MFPs

Contex will be showing the HD Ultra 4290I+ high-resolution wide-format scanner and the SD3615 wide-format MFP solution, which scans, copies, prints and e-mails. The HD Ultra 4290I+ is for high-volume, wide-format scanning jobs that are quality critical and time sensitive. It is a true work horse for wide-format scanning. Compact Plastic Coil Binding

The Sterling Coilmaster Jr., from Spiel Associates, is a compact, economical solution for high-speed plastic coil binding. This tabletop unit automatically inserts coil into the book from the first hole onwards, then cuts and crimps. The Coilmaster Jr. allows for the speedy binding of books with healthy margins of up to 3⁄16˝, with round or oval holes. Bind books up to 25mm in diameter using any pitch. No tooling is required.
