Disabling the links, though, won’t eliminate the competition. Your customers can send work to quick printers today; they can break the same organizational rules now without Adobe’s help. Enforcement of the organization’s print policy can only go so far, as you all know.
So while I laud the efforts of all who helped Adobe see the light, I also hope this brouhaha has opened your eyes to the fact that your competition is always looking for ways to sneak up and steal away your customers. Only strong marketing and follow-up (see page 48 for tips)—combined with an easy-to-use online ordering system—will keep work flowing into your in-plant.
