Each year, In-plant Impressions ranks the largest in-plant printing operations according to annual sales and total number of employees.
Since university in-plants comprise the bulk of that list, we have created a separate ranking showing how higher-ed in-plants stack up against one another. As in past years, there have been some ups and downs as in-plants’ revenue and staff sizes changed. A few highlights:
- Five university in-plants generated more than $6 million in revenue.
- The average sales of the top 10 university in-plants is $5,934,432.
- Four university in-plants have more than 50 employees.
- Though many have reduced their staffs since last year, nine reported more employees in 2022 than in 2021.

(Note: The second and third rankings were inadvertently switched in the employee column. A new PDF is being uploaded.)
