Texas In-plants Gather for TACUP Conference

This week in League City, Texas, near Houston, the Texas Association of College and University Printers (TACUP) joined forces with the Southwest Association of College and University Mail Services to hold a joint conference. In-plant managers from all over the Lone Star State got together at the Southshore Harbour Resort and Conference Center for three days of networking and education.

Sessions covered topics like dye-sublimation, designing for mail and sustainability. Motivational speaker Beverly Chiodo kept the group's attention with her presentation on "Character-driven Success." Attendees got to tour UTHealth Printing Services, home to a new five-color Heidelberg SX74, and the mailing center at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
