New Video Shows off University of Alabama-Birmingham's In-plant
The University of Alabama at Birmingham's in-plant is about a month away from packing up and relocating to a new facility. IPG Editor Bob Neubauer visited the in-plant recently and talked with director Steve Murray about the upcoming move.
With a six-color Heidelberg press, a Xerox iGen4, and countless other offset and digital machines, plus a full bindery and mail area, the movers will have their hands full. The operation is relocating from a 25,000-square-foot plant to a slightly smaller 19,000-square-foot facility a few blocks away.
In the new IPG video, Steve Murray comments about the reasons behind the move and also what it means that the university decided to invest in this relocation, rather than considering other alternatives. Watch the short video here.
