Solvent-based Ink Technology
The Epson Stylus Pro GS6000 is a 64˝, roll-to-roll printer with a new Dual-Array MicroPiezo AMC print head. It uses solvent-based ink technology that has a less harmful impact on the environment and worker health, while also being compatible with virtually any solvent-based media. Epson UltraChrome GS Ink technology has eight individual colors, including a new orange and green. UltraChrome GS Ink technology eliminates the need for external dryers and air purification systems—it provides virtually odorless printing with no special ventilation or air purification systems required. Speeds range from 91 sfph up to 180 sfph for everyday production quality printing. A media take-up reel allows for unattended production of large runs. —www.proimaging.epson.com
