Textile printing will be a popular theme at next week's SGIA Expo, taking place in Atlanta's Georgia World Congress Center from November 4-6. The Digital Textile Printing Zone will provide a wealth of information on digital textile printing including technical and design requirements, recommended workflows, color management tips, finishing techniques, and recommended best practices for a variety of ink and fabric combinations. In addition to the Textile Printing Zone, the show will also feature a Garment Zone and a Sustainability Zone.
There will also certainly be lots of wide-format printing on display on the trade show floor, with new technologies being demonstrated by Agfa, EFI, Fujifilm, Mutoh America, Roland DG, Canon Solutions America and many others. Nearly 550 vendors in all will be exhibiting at the expo, highlighting innovative applications, near-future technology and the newest specialty imaging product offerings.
In-plants attending the expo will be checking out hybrid and flatbed wide-format printers and garment printers, as they search for new services to offer their organizations. They also plan to look at wide-format media, supplies and inks.
