The 13th annual Inkjet Summit came to a close Wednesday night, April 16, at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. More than 300 printing industry professionals, consisting of hosted attendees, sponsoring companies, and guests, gathered for two-and-a-half days of education, case study presentations, 1:1 meetings, and peer networking.
The event was a huge success and, as is customary on the final evening of the Summit, six sponsors were presented with the coveted "Best Sponsor Case Study Presentation" awards, and one was named the "Company to Watch Out For" — all chosen by Summit attendees.
To celebrate the hard work of the attendees who participated in panels, sessions, and case studies, one attendee was also honored as the "Overall Contributing Attendee." For the second year in a row, that attendee was from an in-plant. Here are the winners:
- Overall Best Contributing Attendee: Doug Maxwell, director, Brigham Young University Print and Mail
- Best Sponsor Case Study Presentation – In-plant: Canon
- Best Sponsor Case Study Presentation – Publishing (tie): Muller Martini and Magnum Digital Solutions
- Best Sponsor Case Study Presentation – Direct Mail: EMT International
- Best Sponsor Case Study Presentation – General Commercial: Komori
- Best Sponsor Case Study Presentation – Transaction: BlueCrest
- Company to Watch Out For: Kyocera
