SCREEN Americas will be a keynote sponsor of the annual Inkjet Summit, which is being held July 26-28, 2021, at the Hyatt Lost Pines in Austin, Texas. This will be SCREEN Americas’ eighth year participating in the conference, an event whose organizers formally recognized SCREEN Americas as “The Company to Watch Out For” in 2017.
As a leading developer of inkjet technology in the commercial, direct mail, transactional, publishing, packaging, folding carton and label markets, SCREEN Americas looks forward to participating in an educational environment where printers can attend workshops and exchange strategies on how to improve their operations and grow their businesses. It is also an opportunity for SCREEN Americas to meet with printers who have not yet made the leap to investing in digital inkjet and are attending the conference with the hope of having their questions answered and their uncertainties addressed.
Many of SCREEN’s current customers were first introduced to SCREEN’s technology at the Inkjet Summit. These folks were oftentimes operating a combination of toner-based and offset presses and were looking for an alternative solution to assign appropriate jobs to an additional press that offered exceptional image quality at a rapid speed. SCREEN’s technology has filled this need with its high-speed inkjet series consisting of the Truepress Jet520HD, Truepress Jet520NX and Truepess Jet520ZZ.
The return to a face-to-face environment is also welcomed by SCREEN Americas. “While we have certainly managed to master the art of attending a conference virtually, it will be nice to be able to participate at an in-person event again,” said Mark Schlimme, vice president of marketing for SCREEN Americas. The Inkjet Summit was held as a virtual event in 2020 and this year’s event was rescheduled from March to July so that attendees could appear in person in accordance with current health guidelines.
