Roland DGA to Feature Customer Interviews, Demos and Global Contest Alongside Products at 2018 SGIA Expo
There will be no shortage of excitement in Roland DGA’s booth at the 2018 SGIA Expo, October 18-20, in Las Vegas. In addition to showcasing its latest inkjet printers and other advanced digital devices, Roland will be conducting a complete schedule of live, in-booth special events designed to engage, educate and inspire attendees. Visitors to booth 1137 can watch insightful “How I Built My Business” interviews with accomplished Roland end users on the main stage, attend vehicle wrap demonstrations by the pros from Digital EFX Wraps, participate in hands-on workflows, get UV and dye-sublimation tips from Roland DGA product managers, and even enter Roland’s latest global contest for a chance to win an African safari for two.
Roland DGA’s live interview series will give attendees the opportunity to learn from leading influencers within the sign and graphics industry. These include: Nick Wooodward, graphics manager for NASCAR’s Richard Childress Racing (RCR), whose crew designs and installs all of the team’s race car graphics and promotional materials; renowned Hollywood film graphic designer Martin Charles, who has created sets for “The Avengers” and other blockbuster movies; Luis Vivas of Vivas Banners and Signs, who provides signage for Google, Lucasfilm and other Silicon Valley icons; and James Atwood of Impact Sign Company, who has helped quadruple his company’s business by diversifying into UV print applications.
Those attending the 2018 SGIA Expo can also get a firsthand look at Roland’s most popular wide-format inkjets for eco-solvent, UV and dye-sublimation applications, including advanced TrueVIS, VersaUV and Texart models, among others. In addition, Roland DGA will be showcasing personalization solutions such as the new COTOdesign application and DGSHAPE LD-80 laser decorator, where attendees can create their own personalized items using Roland products.
“There are dozens of reasons for SGIA Expo attendees to visit the Roland booth, all centered around our products and solutions that are built to build our customers’ businesses,” said Roland DGA President Andrew Oransky. “I’m especially excited about the series of live interviews, where we’ll be talking with influential leaders in the industry to get the ‘inside scoop’ on how they built – and continue to build – their successful operations.”
SGIA Expo attendees can also enter the newly launched “Discover Roland, Explore Africa” contest for a chance to win the Grand Prize – an all-expense paid African sight-seeing safari for two, including airfare, accommodations, meals and guided tours. The global contest is designed to encourage prospective customers to get a hands-on product demonstration of Roland technology, which SGIA attendees will be able to do on-site in the Roland booth. More information on the contest is available at www.rolanddga.com/discover.
Additionally, those who will be attending this year’s SGIA Expo can pre-schedule a private meeting session with a Roland sales professional to discuss their specific needs and identify the perfect Roland solutions for starting or expanding their business.
