Kodak technology also helped produce more than 1.2 million security badges and credentials. Applications were scanned with a Kodak i620 scanner using Capture Software. Badges were printed using Kodak Professional ML-500 or 9810 digital photo printers.
In other print-related Olympics news, EFI’s Jetrion 3025 ink-jet system was used by the China Banknote Printing and Minting Corp. to print 13 million tickets for the Olympics with radio-frequency identification (RFID) and variable data on every ticket.
