Canon U.S.A. has launched Canon Solutions America, a wholly owned subsidiary that is headquartered in Long Island, NY, with offices throughout the the Unites States. It integrates the business operations of Canon Business Solutions, Océ North America and Océ Imagistics. Joe Adachi, president and CEO of Canon U.S.A., will serve as chairman and CEO. Océ Business Services has changed its name to Canon Business Process Services and Océ Financial Services has merged into Canon Financial Services.
Two new appointments have been made at Presstek Inc. John Meyer has been promoted to vice president of marketing. Ralph Jenkins is the new director of sales, CTP and indirect channels, retaining his dealer management role, and assuming Meyer's previous responsibilities in CTP sales.
Unisource Worldwide has opened PaperPlus stores in Indianapolis and Kent, WA. The stores are part of Unisource's chain of wholesale paper stores serving commercial printers, copy shops, local businesses and the general public.
Three new appointments have been made at Screen (USA). Ken Ingram has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president of sales. Christopher DuBach has been hired as a regional sales manager to support the company's growth in the high-speed inkjet press market. Aron Allenson has been named a sales support specialist for inkjet press sales.
Two personnel changes have been made at Manugraph DGM. Brian LaBine has been named president and CEO. Ron Ehrhardt has assumed sales management responsibilities for North America. Manugraph DGM will also now be known as Manugraph Americas, continuing to offer sales, spare parts and press support services from its Elizabethville, PA, facility.
NPES awarded its Harold Gegenheimer Award for Industry Service to Gary Dolgins, Blanchard Systems; and to Ulrik Nygaard, Baumfolder Corp. EFI got the Corporate Award.
