Presstek Wins Patent Infringement Case

In a separate proceeding, the Patent Court in Munich Germany has found that the patent that Presstek has asserted against VIM in the infringement case to be valid and enforceable. The judgments of the Higher Court Dusseldorf and the Patent Court are final, as the time to file appeals has expired.

The company announced that as a result of these court findings, Presstek will be pursuing the enforcement of its patents against other distributors of VIM products throughout Europe where distributors are selling VIM products in violation of Presstek’s patent rights.
