Disaster Recovery and Contingency Planning

Pitney Bowes Inc., which experienced a devastating fire at it’s presort services facility in Grand Prairie, Texas, in February, will host a webinar Tuesday, October 18 on the importance of disaster recovery and contingency planning. The educational session will offer first-hand experience and best practices to help organizations of all sizes safeguard and strengthen their operations.

Having a business continuity plan in place is vital for keeping business operations running in the event of a disruption or failure. These failures can include power outages, application errors, network crashes, or human error. Being proactive and ensuring teams are well-equipped to make decisions can mean the difference between effective response and a complete breakdown in customer service.
