Appleton
Appleton’s long-standing commitment to the environment led to the development of its patented vegetable-oil-based capsule technology in 2001 and is the driving force behind its ISO 14001 certification. It is reportedly the only major North American carbonless paper producer to have all of its facilities meet this internationally recognized standard for environmental management systems. Appleton has earned Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) chain-of-custody certification and offers a range of FSC-certified carbonless products. For more than 20 years, NCR paper brand Recover has offered 50 percent recycled content, including 30 percent post-consumer waste.
