Oregon State Sweeps ACUP+ Awards
On Wednesday, April 2, the Association of College and University Printers (ACUP+) honored the winners of its ACUP+ Awards competition in a ceremony in Costa Mesa, California. The gala event capped the association's conference, which drew 65 higher-ed in-plant managers.
ACUP+ President Tom Lydon inducts June Lewis of Kellogg Community College into the ACUP+ Hall of Fame.
Two in-plant managers, Jennifer Hunt of Oregon State University (OSU) and Gary Warren of Fayetteville State University, were honored with the ACUP+ Achiever Award for their years of service to the organization. June Lewis of Kellogg Community College was inducted into the ACUP+ Hall of Fame.
Winners of ACUP+ Impression Awards were:
- Collaborative Service: Oregon State University
- Green Service: Yale University
- Accelerated Service: Oklahoma City Community College
- Impact WOW+: Fayetteville State University and Sacramento State
The University of Texas at Austin accepts one of its ACUP+ Awards.
In the ACUP+ Production Awards portion of the ceremony, OSU brought home an astounding 11 Platinum and Gold awards, along with both the Best of Show - Production and People’s Choice awards. Iowa State University won six awards and Arizona State University won three, as well as Best of Show - Wide Format.

Bob has served as editor of In-plant Impressions since October of 1994. Prior to that he served for three years as managing editor of Printing Impressions, a commercial printing publication. Mr. Neubauer is very active in the U.S. in-plant industry. He attends all the major in-plant conferences and has visited more than 180 in-plant operations around the world. He has given presentations to numerous in-plant groups in the U.S., Canada and Australia, including the Association of College and University Printers and the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association. He also coordinates the annual In-Print contest, co-sponsored by IPMA and In-plant Impressions.
