On July 20, about 40 in-plant managers plus other attendees met at Oregon State University (OSU) in Corvallis for an In-plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) Road Show event, the fourth of eight Road Shows planned in 2023. The two-day affair included a tour of not only OSU Printing & Mailing Services but a bus trip to the state capital of Salem for a visit to the State of Oregon’s Publishing & Distribution operation.
In-plant managers attended from organizations such as Evergreen Public Schools, Highland College, Daimler Trucks, University of Oregon, the State of Washington, and Salem Keizer Schools. Educational sessions by Ricoh, Canon, and Konica Minolta filled the first day. During lunch, attendees got to tour vendor exhibits.
In the afternoon, attendees visited OSU Printing & Mailing Services – just ahead of the installation of a new production inkjet press.
On July 21, after breakfast and networking at OSU, in-plant managers boarded a shuttle bus for a ride to the State of Oregon’s Publishing & Distribution operation. After the tour they enjoyed lunch and a presentation by Ricoh.
The next IPMA Road Show will take place Sept. 28 at Blue Valley Schools in Overland Park, Kansas.
