One Year, No Injuries

Mohawk Fine Papers, known as the country’s largest manufacturer of premium printing, writing and imaging papers, now has something else to be proud of. Employees at Mohawk have performed one million safe work hours without a day lost to injury.

This accomplishment, by approximately 400 employees at four Upstate New York facilities, demonstrates Mohawk’s focus on workplace safety.

“This is a difficult milestone to achieve for any manufacturing operation, and we consider it to be a very big deal for our company and our employees,” said Kevin P. Richard, executive vice president, operations.
