Its low maintenance ultra-violet cured coating system produces a high-quality finish to digitally produced media. It coats stocks from 157 gsm (60# cover/ 7.4 pt) to 385 gsm (146 # cover/18 pt) and allows for variable coating thickness control. An automatic feeder option is available.
Drytac
After the success of its DocuMate Plus 13˝, Drytac is introducing a DocuMate Plus 20˝ at OnDemand. The additional width of the user friendly DocuMate Plus 20˝ will allow clients more flexibility in press jobs that need coating. This machine will coat more eco-friendly, low melt, wax-infused toners for on-demand print shops where space is an issue. Both DocuMate Plus coating machines are compatible with traditional photo, offset, litho and all digital color presses. Booth 832.
Duplo
With multiple functions in one system, Duplo’s DFS-3500 bookletmaking system completely finishes full-bleed booklets in a single pass. Incorporating a mid-range DBM-350/T bookletmaker and trimmer in-line with a DC-445 creaser, it combines the slitting and creasing features of the DC-445 with the stitch/fold/trim features of the DBM-350/T. The ability of the DBM-350/T to handle set-by-set and sheet-by-sheet output and the DC-445 creaser to eliminate toner cracking on digital applications make it the ideal solution for printers transitioning from offset to digital. Booth 1114.
GBC
GBC will introduce the HeatSeal Sprint H950 laminator, reportedly the first fully automated desktop laminator. GBC calls it a breakthrough in lamination that takes you from start to finish with just the touch of a button. This all-in-one system reduces labor, time and supply costs up to 49 percent, or $2,500 per year, versus standard pouch laminators. Simply load up to 50 documents and press start. Ready, Set, Done. Booth 1315.
Morgana
The Morgana DocuMaster comprises a creasing unit, which uses Morgana’s creasing and suction feed technologies, linked to automatic booklet making. The creaser, which can also be used to perforate, can put up to nine creases on a sheet at speeds up to 4,800 sheets per hour. The operator enters the number of sheets and the sheet size on the control panel, then programs in whether the cover and/or middle sheets need to be creased. Then the automated DocuMaster takes over all functions. It handles sheets from 5.5x6.3˝ to 24.8x13˝ and weights up to 120 lbs. It produces up to 1,440 booklets per hour. Booth 525.

The 5222 Digicut is a recent addition to MBM’s Triumph cutter line. Engineered in Germany, this powerful 20.5˝ hydraulic cutter features a programmable back gauge module with a digital display capable of storing 99 programs with up to 99 steps each. The adjustable hydraulic clamp makes it suited for digital applications. Booth 319.
Nordson
Nordson’s PURBlue 4 slug melter brings efficient, effective processing of reactive PUR adhesives to low-volume spine gluing applications. Start-up and shut-down are simple with user-friendly controls and graphic indicators. Melt-on-demand processing along with the adjustable force piston reduces adhesive waste while increasing productivity. With the EP48 spine gluing application head, the PURBlue 4 melter creates a closed adhesive system to improve production processes and finished book quality of perfect bound books. Booth 318.
RENA Systems
The new T-650 Multi-side Tabber from RENA Systems can handle all USPS tabbing automation regulations—current and proposed—in one pass. This tabber can apply tabs to folded self mailers, double postcards, booklets, CD/DVD cases and more. It can apply tabs to opposite sides of a mailer or booklet at the same time. It can even place a tab on the top edge while simultaneously applying multiple tabs to the side edge. It can reach speeds up to 25,000/hour, and can apply stamps too. Exhibiting with Neopost, Booth 1043.
Rollem
Rollem will display its line of finishing systems ranging from lower volume to mid-high volume options for both digital and offset print finishing. One such system is the Rollem Advantage short-run scoring, perforating, and slitting machine for finishing digital color multiple-up products. It can edge trims in both directions, it slits and scores in one step and it eliminates guillotine cutting. Less labor results in maximum efficiency. Booth 643.
Spiel Associates

New for 2010, Spiral Binding James Burn introduces the Binding Station 4 in 1. It is a heavy-duty punch and binding system that offers a space-saving design that will punch and bind Plastic Comb, Plastic Coil and Wire-O. The Binding Station 4 in 1 has four different punching dies and three binding stations all in one compact design, eliminating the need for interchangeable dies and numerous binding modules. A pin design that you can fully disengage allows for punching on any size document up to 12˝. Booth 948.
