On Demand Show Starts Tuesday in D.C.
For the first time in its 18-year history, the On Demand Conference & Expo has moved south of the Mason Dixon Line. On Tuesday the popular conference and expo for digital printing and publishing will open its doors at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. In-plants from all around the country are expected to attend the event, which is co-located with the info 360: AIIM Expo + Conference.
In addition to the expo floor, which will feature numerous digital technologies, the show will include a Wide-Format Pavilion, a Publishing & Marketing Pavilion, and a Mailing & Fulfillment Pavilion.
National Geographic Digital Media's Senior Vice President of Content Development & Design, Rob Covey, will deliver the keynote address for the opening session at this year's show. Covey will present "Transforming a Publishing Icon." The keynote speaker on the second day will be Charlie Corr, Vice President, Corporate Strategy, Mimeo, who will speak about "The New Era of Printing & Publishing On Demand." Educational sessions will cover topics like the State and Future of Publishing, Tools and Technologies, Cross Media Marketing, eMedia Technologies and Publishing Today and Tomorrow.
On Tuesday, March 22, from 5:00-6:30 p.m., a welcome reception will all all attendees to mingle over complimentary beverages and hors d'oevres.
