"We provide overnight service on bills introduced into either chamber of the legislature," says Anderson. "When they introduce a bill at four in the afternoon, by eight the next morning they have a printed and bound copy on each legislative desk."
That kind of work is actually a break compared to the in-plant's busy period from mid-October through mid-January. During that time, the plant often hires numerous temps and runs 24/7 to print out the state tax forms, the hardbound statute books for the new legislative session, and most important of all, the governor's budget report.
