For the first time, NPES The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies, will attend the upcoming In-plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) 2017 annual conference as a sponsor. The June 11-14 event in Pittsburgh is the largest annual meeting of in-plant managers. IPMA Executive Director Mike Loyd hopes this new relationship will benefit members by giving them access to NPES research.
"IPMA is extremely pleased to have the support of NPES for our 2017 conference, and hopefully continuing forward. We believe that our members will benefit from a strong relationship with NPES, enabling them to acquire information, research and best practices. At the same time, we believe NPES will gain from its interaction with our members," says Loyd.
NPES is co-producer of the PRINT 17 trade show in Chicago, where IPMA plans to host co-located activities for in-plant attendees, as it has for several years.
Based on NPES's 2017-20 strategic plan focused on overall print industry growth, NPES President Thayer Long states, "We are delighted to serve as a co-sponsor of this year's IPMA annual conference, and do so in support of aligning the print value chain for greatest success."
Currently 45 exhibitors have signed up for the IPMA 2017 conference, with more than 50 expected to be at the event.
