New Video: Temple's iGen4 in the Sky
Temple University Duplicating Services has installed what may be the highest Xerox iGen4 in the city of Philadelphia—and possibly the region. The 11-employee in-plant recently fired up its new digital color press on the 10th floor of a university building.
A few weeks ago, IPG Editor Bob Neubauer took a subway ride up to Temple and checked it out. He talked with Director Maury Kane and Steve Gallagher, copy center supervisor, and made a short video of their digital operation.
In the video, Kane and Gallagher describe how the new digital press is helping the in-plant address Temple's need for high-quality color marketing materials. Kane also details some of the difficulties faced trying to bring such a giant machine up 10 floors in an old freight elevator.
A full story on Temple's new iGen4 appears in the September issue of IPG. To watch the video, click here.
